Our Principal

Cathleen Cummings, Principal of the Rogers International School, came to Rogers in July of 2000. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island, she began her career as a teacher in Newport, RI and later Stamford. She holds a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Sacred Heart University with a concentration in Gifted and Talented as well as Sixth Year degree in Administration and Supervision from Fairfield University. In February 2004, Rogers became authorized as a World School by the IBO. As part of the authorization process, Ms. Cummings received extensive training in the Primary Years Program from the IBA. This included workshops in inquiry, assessment, literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies. Today she continues her pursuit of having all Rogers' students adhere to the IB principles.

Our Assistant Principal

In the summer of 2022, Alexander Hanna was named Assistant Principal at RIS.
